Indian ‘master’ unveils CD-Rom on ‘feng shui’
First English version of ‘Vasthu-Sastra’
A RENOWNED Indian feng shui master from Chennai, India, is in Malaysia to introduce the science of ancient architechture through CD-ROMs called the “Vasthu-Sastra”.
Yuvaraj Sowma, 31, an inheritor of in-depth knowledge in architetural science from his fore fathers, released the first English-versioned Vasthu-Sastra in CD-ROMs in India in September last year.
These CDs will be launched at the Summit Hotel, Subang Jaya tomorrow and will be markedted by Basel Trading Enterprise at Bandar Sri Subang.
The CD-ROM, at RM100 each, contains 60 chapters of intricate details of the 5,000-year-old Science of Construction with the rules demonstrated with the help of visual presentations.
Yuvaraj said, the Vasthu-Sastra is a from science and has nothing to do with religion.
“Prosperity, health and the general well-being of the occupant of a house depends very much on the manner in which the house is constructed.
“If the position of the constructed house is found to be at fault, the Sastra provides ideas for correction without demolishing or reconstructing the house, unlike the Chinese feng shui,” Yuvaraj said.
“The knowledge might have emerged from spritual beliefs. But, there is clear scientific explanation to this as there is a commection between our body and the place we live in.
“The Vasthu-Sastra not only helps in the positioning inside the homes but also in work places, business centres, offices, restaurants, hotels and everywhere,” he added.
The Vasthu-Sastra also helps in identifying the suitable wood or otherwise for buildings, from the laying of the foundation to the doorway, the correct positions of rooms, pillars and other related informations prior to construction.
Yuvaraj added that in order for non-Indians to grasp the information without difficulty, the details are presented in simple English by P.C.Ramakrishna, an English newscaster in India.
Yuvaraj will give a talk at Summit Hotel, Subang Jaya tomorrow at 7pm.
Registration fees for the talk is RM50 each. PLACES ARE LIMITED. Those interested, can call Basel Trading Enterprise chief executive officer Bala S.P. at 03-7329489 / 7329490 or e-mail to or visit the website at |
